A proud Floridian by nature, I moved to Northern VA in 1986 to fulfill a lifetime dream of working for a major airline and travel the world. I was with the friendly skies for almost 10 years when I left. My career path took me to the Internet industry where I managed the client relationship of hotels and apartment communities installed with high-speed Internet services. Unfortunately I was part of the casualties in 2001 when the bubble burst.

Having spent over 1/3 of my life in the Hospitality / Aviation industries I decided to leave VA for a beautiful suburb of PA. While there I worked to build a start-up airline from certification to building 3 successful domiciles for our flight attendants / pilots. Working for a REDNECK HOMOPHOBIC BUBBA wasn't my thing so I moved to NYC to manage the flight attendant training of a "very BLUE" airline.

That is when I met the love of my life, a wonderful young man from Venezuela while training in Miami. We fell in love, he moved to the US, and we fought the US goverment to allow him the opportunity to stay in the US with me. We won the 2 year battle and received political asylum. After a great 3 years together, the freedom allowed to ALL Americans was so powerful that he decided he needed to grow and experience life in the AMERICAN DREAM. He is a wonderful man and I love and miss his friendship dearly.

I have been single now for 18 months and have begun a path of growth and development that has led me to this group of wonderful people. While my story may seem long and drawn out - the amazing growth I have had is incredible. I am seeking new friendships and new paths for both personal and professional development.
